Mission Statement

About

Vestin is building the operating system for disciplined crypto traders. We unify fragmented exchange data, daily journaling, and team context so every review loop stays tight and actionable.

Vestin was built because of very concrete, painful moments we kept running into as traders.

When we were just crypto traders, the following scenes happened almost every day:

  1. Thought we made money until settlement showed fees ate a big chunk. In perps, fees are a hidden counterparty. Opens, closes, cancels, funding—each tick adds up. Few keep them properly accounted, let alone review why a ‘right direction’ trade didn’t pay.
  2. After years, still can’t state true P&L. Spreadsheets everywhere, CSVs from exchanges piling up, but no single answer for true net return/vol/ drawdown across accounts and venues. Data is fragmented and grows messy.
  3. Losing and unsure why. Fee structure? Entry/exit rhythm? Wrong time/market? Strategy decay? Without decomposing and quantifying the process, intuition gets dragged by emotions.
  4. FOMO and loss of discipline show up when you least want it. Rules exist on paper, but one green candle takes over. Without a practical loop of Plan → Execute → Review, discipline stays a slogan.
  5. Plenty of moments worth noting, yet nowhere tied to trading context. Order book hints, a lesson after a stop, a small tweak idea—without memos bound to data, these threads scatter fast.
  6. Most journaling tools have weak support for crypto. They apply Excel logic without understanding blockchain fee structures or contract-specific cost models, let alone auto-syncing exchange data. Portfolio trackers focus on asset aggregation, not trade review and optimization.

These pains pushed us to build Vestin:

  • Unify accounts and venues, clean fees/funding/net PnL, and surface the ‘real’ account picture.
  • Capture memos, screenshots and tags right on the timeline so context sticks to data.
  • Use visuals and metrics to pinpoint rhythm breaks and weak dimensions, not vague hindsight.
  • Make review a lightweight daily loop: execution score today, next small target, triggers to avoid—tracked and actionable.

Trading isn’t a series of lucky duels; it’s a loop you can refine. Vestin aims to make that loop lighter, steadier, and executable.

If you’ve wrestled with these problems, we’re likely on the same road. Join us to make trading a crafted rhythm, not a roll of the dice.
